Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at this hotel in Nuwara Eliya, which has a charming old-world style and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent and offered a nice variety. However, some aspects like the outdated room and cleanliness left much to be desired. It was disappointing to see the bathroom conditions and the cold dining experience. While there are positives, I’m not sure I would stay here again for an extended period.
This hotel is a hidden gem with charming, old-fashioned decor and incredibly friendly staff. I found the breakfast and buffet to be superb for the price, and management was very helpful with local information. On the downside, my room was quite cold due to drafty windows, and the shower was not clean, which really dampened my experience.
My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The room felt very basic, offering just a bed and a pillow with hardly any amenities. I was left cold all night despite paying extra for a small heater. The staff was not particularly helpful, and the hotel had a noticeable unpleasant smell. It felt more like a cheap motel than a comfortable retreat.
I found this hotel to have some old-world charm, but it definitely needs some updates. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was a highlight. However, my experience was marred by cleanliness issues and outdated facilities. If you appreciate vintage style and a central location, this could work for you, but be prepared for some drawbacks.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms right in the center of town, making it a convenient stay. However, noise from the busy road can be bothersome, and dining options were limited and pricey. The overall value for money isn't the best, but the buffet quality is decent. It's a good budget-friendly choice for those looking to explore the area.
